Welcome to The Florida State University Drifter Group. We are a team of scientists investigating the ocean’s circulation at the very surface where transport of pollutants (oil, chemical, toxic blooms, plastics,…) and fish eggs and larvae are usually located. Our new developed instruments allow for a precise tracking of the ocean surface flow including the effects of Stokes Drift. Click here to view the drifter trajectories from our first experiment.
